In 2001 Joan Kitterman Harkins founded Kitterman on the principles of extraordinary service backed by solid business acumen. Kitterman’s small but mighty team combines talents that bring in years of experience running successful advertising and marketing campaigns for a wide variety of clients and industries. 

Joan Harkins | President & CEO

Joan founded Kitterman Marketing 15 years ago, and has overseen numerous successful demand generation programs for Fortune 500 companies in the tech sector. As president, Joan has witnessed the staggering changes that have impacted the world of marketing—and has worked to help companies stay competitive and relevant in the new normal that has emerged.

Joan oversees efforts to vet and adopt new technologies that represent new and better ways for companies to market their solutions and fill their marketing and sales pipelines.

Karen Mahardy | Director of Client Services

Karen has over 20 years of both agency and client experience in advertising/marketing, media strategy, and project management. Karen’s experience working in both client and agency environments, plus her ability to think creatively, strategically, and analytically, enables her to exceed client expectations in all aspects of their engagement with Kitterman. Karen has managed national and global marketing and advertising campaigns for companies including Microsoft, Fluke Networks, Vertafore, Albertsons, Watchguard, and DHL.

Karen is also a working artist and active member of the Glass Art Society. Additionally, Karen holds a Masters of Fine Arts in glass sculpture from Rochester Institute of Technology. Her work can be found in galleries around the country, as well as in public and private collections.

Bobby Arispe | Creative Director

Bobby leads Kitterman’s visual design and content teams. He brings over 13 years of experience as an art director, designer, and manager with a focus in digital and interactive design, plus a strong background in brand development, shopper marketing, and print. He has created interactive experiences for Microsoft and Xbox, directed photo shoots for Miller Lite, developed retail solutions for Kraft, Hershey, and ConAgra, and developed awareness campaigns for the Centers for Disease Control. His work has garnered several AAF ADDY and Webby awards.

An avid photographer, Bobby loves to travel and capture the places and people he visits, and he often applies his photography talents to client projects.

DeAnna Raihl | Digital Marketing Specialist

DeAnna has over 18 years of experience in finance, tech, marketing, and strategy roles while leading sales teams in multiple regions. She has launched websites and B2B and B2C digital campaigns in multiple countries while supporting both client and manufacturer initiatives. With a passion for thinking outside the box, DeAnna specializes in bringing life and creativity to lackluster campaigns; revitalizing and transforming them into lead generating machines for her customers.
